The movie took numerous liberties with Ruth's life and job, most notably in its portrayal of his "Referred to as Shot" and his hitting of two home runs for just a sick baby. Although the Ill youngster Tale is a long-standing Ruth myth, the Termed Shot's authenticity continues to be
